I always believe that God speaks to us during the most unexpected moments. Just like with many personalities in the Bible, God encountered these people during the times they least expected. God spoke to Noah to build an ark when Noah thought that there is no need for such a project. God spoke to Abraham that He will make him the father of a chosen nation when Abraham does not even know who God is. God met Moses through a burning bush when he was eighty years old, and forty years removed from his people. And throughout the pages of the Bible, we have seen time and again the same story line. God speaks to His people in the most unexpected of times.
